On December 28, 1925, Franziska Joksch of Vienna received a patent for developing a novel multiplication device aimed at expediting calculations and reducing the range of multiplication tasks. This device builds upon earlier innovations, incorporating individual tables up to 1000 and a small set of simple tools to facilitate efficient computation, especially for common uses in small businesses.
