An Improved Toy Motor.

On June 9, 1894, Martha Cole, a toy manufacturer from Norton Folgate in Middlesex, obtained a patent for a novel toy motor. Her invention simplifies the traditional spinning methods used in toy motors, using a heavy spinning wheel mounted on a spindle, thus reducing the need for precise handling and timing.
