Made of multiple lace-connected sections and secured by straps and rings, the adjustable cover could be easily opened to place the animal inside while keeping it safely contained during bathing.

Her method involved evaporating and neutralizing the wash, then passing superheated steam through the concentrated residue to release and condense the glycerine for recovery.

Her design used two stretchable front panels that laced independently at the sides, allowing firmer support of the abdomen - particularly for fuller figures - while leaving the rest of the corset constructed in the usual manner.

On October 29, 1923, Madame Lucienne Frey of Châlons-sur-Marne, France, patented a new treatment for transmission belts. Her method improved belt grip by applying two separate coatings: an adhesive film on the pulley side and a conditioning grease on the reverse.

On October 30, 1919, Madame Lucienne Gouny of Paris, France, patented a collapsible box using a parallelogram folding system. Her design hinged all sides so that two opposite sides remain parallel while the others fold without overlap, allowing the box to compact to one-quarter of its full volume when closed.
