Her method involved cooking castor oil, sulfur, and tellurium chloride into a thick resin, then mixing in leather waste and silica to create a sheetable material with linoleum-like properties.

On September 15, 1947, Livia Juri of Lugano, Switzerland, received a patent for a novel container designed for preparing sweets. Her adjustable mold featured two interlocking sliding sections — secured by spring hooks or edge notches — allowing bakers to form desserts in multiple dimensions without needing multiple pans.

On June 30, 1892, Marguerite-Hortense Lançon of Bienne was granted a patent for a novel aluminum watch case. Her design featured an integrated structure, allowing all the main components to be assembled in a single motion, eliminating the need for separate assembly of individual parts.

On May 31, 1948, Maria Adriana Rotteveel-Landman of The Hague, Netherlands, patented a portable photocopying device — a compact, flat machine with a moving light source that allowed users to easily copy documents and book pages anywhere.

On October 15, 1892, Marie Carrara, a resident of Geneva, was granted a patent for an innovative device designed to adjust parts of dresses on the wearer while simultaneously preserving the shape of the waist.

On November 15, 1890, Marie Salberg and Ther. Peter, of Munich, were granted a patent for a soft period pad made of thin rubber, specifically designed to absorb heavy bleeding and prevent spillage.

On February 1, 1909, the Princess of Belgium Stephani and the Countess of Lonyay Elemer, both living in Schloß Oroszvâr, Hungary, were awarded a patent for developing an innovative food warmer that would prevent fuel spills and protect the surface from excess heat.

On October 31, 1901, Witwe Anna Elisabetha Kunz-Marti of Biberist, Switzerland, patented a tub-mounted wringer with adjustable rollers to squeeze floor cloths, even while attached to scrub brushes. Its foldable design and guiding plates made cleaning easier and more hygienic.
